Dr. Wm. Stephen Martin specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face. He is an accomplished surgeon with years of experience in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Martin holds the position of fellow in both the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.Dr. Martin received his degree in medicine from East Tennessee State University College of Medicine in 1985. He subsequently completed a five-year surgical residency in head and neck surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. His formal training was completed in 1991 with a comprehensive fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program. Dr. Martin's innovative techniques, excellent academic record and expert practical experience have made him a popular choice for patients seeking facial plastic surgery. As a leader in LASER procedures, he has conducted seminars for other surgeons and physicians in both surgical procedure and technique. He has also served as a clinical investigator for development of technology for the improvement of aging and sun damaged skin.
